Tanner Olson

The Boards of Stewardship and Social Ministry are happy to announce we are sponsoring a concert with Tanner Olson, poet, writer, and singer on Saturday, January 31st.  Quite a few of our TLC members have heard him before and are excited about hearing and seeing him again. Bring your family and friends for an inspiring evening of music and poetry.

Here is a bit of information from his website on who he is and what he does!  https://www.writtentospeak.com/Speaking

Hello, I’m Tanner Olson.
I’m an author, spoken word poet, and speaker passionate about sharing hope through words.
I’ve written five books, including the widely loved poetry collection Walk A Little Slower and award-winning children’s book, All the Things I Say to God.
My writing has been described as “hopefully unique,” blending faith, humor, and curiosity in a style that’s all my own.
For over a decade, I’ve traveled the country sharing poems, stories, and messages centered on grace, encouragement, and the love of Jesus. Whether on stage, in print, or through a screen, my goal is always the same: to point people toward hope.
I live in Nashville, TN with my wife, son, and our goldendoodle, Pancake.
Along with Tanner we will meet his friend, Blake Flattley who is a singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist known for his blend of folk, Americana, and indie rock. His musical journey began after a formative encounter with a blind saxophonist in California who inspired him to channel human emotions and struggle through music.

Our schedule for Saturday will be:
4 p.m.- 4:45 p.m. Family Show
5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Dinner
6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
