LWML Lunch & Meeting
Mark your calendar for Wednesday, September 2nd as LWML begins a new season! We will meet in the Education Building at 1130 for lunch. Bring your lunch and we will provide dessert. We will begin our meeting at now with a devotion prepared by Carol Beard followed by our planning session for the upcoming season. For more information, please see Jackie Deemer.
Car Wash
Youth Ministry car wash! Bring your vehicle to our car wash on Saturday, August 22nd starting at 9 a.m. We will be there until Noon! This is a fundraiser for the next Youth Gathering.
Sunscreen and Insect repellent
Summer months have arrived!
During the months of June, July and August, we are reaching out to our community to help us help those in need by donating sun screen and insect repellent.
Place your donation in the shopping cart in the Narthex or drop off in the bin at the Donation Station in the Social Hall.

Hearts of Compassion
Trinity Lutheran Church Hearts of Compassion Helping Hands Ministry is happy to announce our year-long drive to help the homeless and families in need. Each month during the year, a needed item is listed. All you have to do is collect the item and drop it off at our Clothes Closet. Our Clothes Closet is open Tuesday from 4-6 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. You can also contact the church office for information.

Ladies Bible Study
Ladies Bible Study begins September 14th at 10 a.m. in the Education Building. Our study will be on Nehemiah. For more information, please see Linda Tomko.
Dinner and a Movie
Dinner and a Movie Night on Friday, August 21st at 6 p.m. in the Social Hall. Our movie is “Chronicles of Narnia - The Voyage of the Dawn Trader”. Register today for a delicious meal and movie snacks. Movie Night is sponsored by our Youth Ministry as a fundraiser for upcoming youth gatherings. Fee is $10. For more information, see Bob Hanovich.
Neighborhood Prayer Walk
All are welcome to join us as we walk through our neighborhood every second Saturday of the month. We meet our neighbors and join them in prayer needs. We meet at the church at 10 a.m. Upcoming dates are:

Items needed for the Homeless
Our Hearts of Compassion ministry will be participating in the VA Standdown in September. We need donations of backpacks and blankets. Please place your donations in the shopping cart in the Narthex. For more information, please see Jennifer Wolfe.
Third Annual Homecoming Celebration
Our annual Homecoming Celebration will be on Saturday, September 19th, from 1-5 p.m. in the Social Hall. We will also be celebrating our appreciation of Pastor Webb and his family. We will have food, fun and fellowship, games, a bouncer for the kids and Bingo. RSVP by calling the Church Office or sign up on the sheet in the Narthex.
Blended Service
A Blended Service will be held on the third Wednesday of the month. Our August Service is Wednesday, August 19th. The Blended Service is liturgically based and includes the use of contemporary hymns and Christian songs. Blended Services will begin at 7 p.m. All are welcome to join us.
