Thanksgiving Dinner

Join us on November 27th for Thanksgiving Dinner in the Social Hall.

Social hour and trivia begin at Noon, followed by a turkey and ham dinner. 

Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. 

Be sure to sign up on the sheet in the Narthex.  All are welcome to join us and bring a friend.

 

Blanket Drive for the Homeless

We will have cooler weather before we know it!  

During the month of November, we are reaching out to our community to help us help those in need by donating new or gently used blankets.

We are accepting blankets, quilts, bedrolls, and sleeping bags.

Place your donation in the shopping cart in the Narthex or drop off in the bin at the Donation Station in the Social Hall.

Reformation Sunday & Communion Celebration

Reformation Sunday and Confirmation Celebration is October 26th following Service. We will have a potluck dinner. We are providing ham and bratwurst. Please bring a dish to share. LWML is providing a cake and punch for our Confirmands. Our Sunday School children will be singing and providing a skit. Be sure to sign up on the sheet in the Narthex. If you have any questions, please see Lonna or Karen.

Voter's Meeting

 

Our Voter's Meeting will be Sunday, November 16th following Service. Sunday School will start at 9 a.m. and Service will begin at 10 a.m.

Hearts of Compassion

Trinity Lutheran Church Hearts of Compassion Helping Hands Ministry is happy to announce our year-long drive to help the homeless and families in need. Each month during the year, a needed item is listed. All you have to do is collect the item and drop it off at our Clothes Closet. Our Clothes Closet is open Tuesday from 4-6 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. You can also contact the church office for information.

March - Toothpaste and toothbrushes

April - Bar soap and deodorant

May - Sunscreen

June - Shampoo and conditioner

July - Nail clippers or files

Ladies Bible Study

Our next session begins Monday, September 8th. Our topic is “Your Name is Daughter” by Amy Seiffert. This study will also be available via zoom. For more information or to register for this class, contact Linda Tomko at (912) 925-4839.

Neighborhood Prayer Walk

All are welcome to join us as we walk through our neighborhood every second Saturday of the month.  We meet our neighbors and join them in prayer needs.  We meet at the church at 10 a.m.  Upcoming dates are:

Over 50 Lunch

Over 50 and want to join us for lunch?  The Over 50 Lunch Bunch will meet on November 19th for lunch at noon. For more information, or to sign up to attend, please contact Marylin McKee.

A Women's Retreat

Join us for A Woman's Retreat on January 24 & 25. Sharla Fritz, a Christian author and speaker will share light-hearted stories and thought-provoking applications, making Bible study fun. Sharla will present four sessions from her book, Divine Design. They will be What Not to Wear - God's Style, Clear out your Spiritual Closet 101, Clean out your spiritual closet 102 and Look in the Mirror - A New You. Meet & Greet on Friday 6:30-8 p.m. with refreshments. Retreat on Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. with light breakfast and lunch provided. Registration fee is $35 if you register before December 1st. Blended Service

 

 

A Blended Service will be held on the third Wednesday of the month. Our November Service is Wednesday, November 19th. The Blended Service is liturgically based and includes the use of contemporary hymns and Christian songs. Blended Services will begin at 7 p.m. All are welcome to join us.

Family Game Night

Join us for Family Game Night on Saturday, November 22 from 6-8 p.m. in the Education Building!  

 

Bring your family, neighbors, and friends! 

The Board of Social Ministry will provide the pizza, so be sure to sign up on the sheet in the Narthex. 

Don't forget your favorite games and a snack to share.  

We will have a separate room for our card players. 

Get your group together and have some fun. 

Countdown to Novemberfest

Counting down the days to our annual Novemberfest 2025 on Nov 8th!  

Be sure to join us and start your holiday shopping.  

We have Nativities, wreaths, centerpieces, trees, wall hangings, baby items, pet beds, ornaments, quilts and kitchen items! 

Our bake shoppe will have jams and jellies, breads and cakes, cookies and lots more.  

Our plant sale will be in the Education Building and it's always a great way to add to your garden or flower beds.  

Doors are open from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. 

BBQ Lunch will be available for purchase for $10.

 

TLC Food Pantry

Our food pantry needed items for the month of November is cereal (small and big boxes) and canned tuna. Please drop off your donations in the shopping cart in the Narthex.
